Mapping the wrong landscape

My current experience of landscape is in meandering lines around the local suburbs with the purpose of exercise for me, the dog or the kids. It feels the wrong landscape for the times in so many ways.  It doesn’t hold the emotions that I’m feeling in it at all, and I’m not held in it at all. It’s very distant emotionally, but the only place that’s close. When urban spaces were suggested, I was pretty adamant that I wasn’t interested but… I do love the idea of looking at line and mapping. Maybe there’s something of interest to explore there. Suggestions to look at:
