Kozo paper

Clean, white sheets of paper on the wall for a new day in the studio. Drips of ink covering all the spaces I can reach, darker where my eyes focus closely, darker where I breathe against the glass. Over the centre I pinned a sheet of Japanese paper, soft like material but strong. I wanted to see how the ink would work on it, drips of pine needle ink, tiny patterns of time marching, stitches suturing the spaces between my attention.
